Wondered what happened to you. We now live in Visalia CA for the past two years. Are you still in Alabama? Building any guitars?

As of yesterday Bob Simmons has 5 more Student mods. almost completed.I am going by Sat.to see them. His work is just the best, and he can build anything you want or need.Well I saw the guitars. He had a super sounding black 3$4.I just had to have it.The guitar is light weight but is custom built like a tank. His guitars that were built many years ago are still being played he builds them to last..I did not need another pedal steel but now the others can have a new mate. Thanks Bob

Hello, Robert, Sorry took so long to answer. How's things in sunny Cal? I've still got 2 sons & 2 granddaughters in Modesto. I'm still building and repairing steels, corporate pilot, and have a model train store. This forum is great, wish I had more time to spend on it. Old friend from out there, Dave Frye, just sent me an old Bud cabinet to work on. Let's talk.
Your friend, Bob Simmons (205)647-2331

Hi, Bob...

I'll give you a call soon.

Pilot, huh? Sounds like you have done well for yourself.

You were the first I know of to combine E9 and B6, but changed back as you "missed the D string"
