Firstly, I LOVE THIS PREAMP!

Ok so now my question? I want to have a very compact short rack with just the V8 and a one space Stewart 200 watt amp on MONO. I aquired the rack ears for the Stewart. how can I secure the V8 in this rack?

I have a pine speaker cab with a 15" Sica speaker and pine a 12 inch 1201-4 with
a Neo Mag.

I actually have a gig this summer and it's the first time playing out in two years Very Happy

I may, in fact, be nuts. However, I am screwed onto the right bolt... Jesus!

Brad has a shelf for rack mounting the Octal. Works great. Am using one. Shoot me your email and I will send you a picture.

I have a brand new V8 and I ordered it with the rack shelf. It came with V8 already mounted. You are supposed to be able to mount your Black Box on the other side. I haven't got that figured out yet. I have an email in to Brad awaiting his answer. I am running the same rig you are. V8 and PA 200 Stewart. So far it's a great rig. I'm using the Wet Reverb mono pedal and Eminence Neo speaker.

I would love to install a BB in the same rack with the V8. I have a Boss 3 pedal case with an RV-5, DD-3 and TU-2 tuner. I installed the power supply in the 3 pedal case and it powers all three pedals. Really compact, light and ready to go.

I also got a 3 stompbox case. Not to knock Brad out of a sale, but if you are handy with measuring and drilling you can get a rack shelf from musicians friend or somewhere and do it yourself. Brads shelf is neat though. The holes were countersunk. I just haven't figured out how to mount the Black Box to the holes provided. My Black Box is an early model and may be different from the later ones. If it doesn't mount with the existing holes, I will drill my own and space it to clear the screw heads on the bottom of the box. Just waiting for Brad to respond.

I got the answer from Brad. His rack shelf is predrilled for the later Black Boxes. Mine is an early model. I will have to drill my own holes to mount it. Huh, is that a good enough excuse to get a later model Black Box, I wonder?
