Does anyone have a suggestion(s) for a 12" speaker (model)to use for both lead guitar and pedal steel? _________________ Emmons PP D10 8X5, GFI Ultra D10,both are setup up "Emmons" style. Quilter 202 Tone Block, Nashville 400, Milkman 85, Stewart PA200, BW and JBL speakers, Profex II

I have an empty 12" cab which I would like to try to use in a rig for both pedal steel and guitar. Assuming the amp is solid state and the primary purpose would be pedal steel which do you feel would be the best fit. _________________ Emmons PP D10 8X5, GFI Ultra D10,both are setup up "Emmons" style. I might add, are you playing a single E9 or D-10 where the C6 neck has a .070 for the 10th string. Same goes for a U-12.
The last string on an E9 is .038 and your six string guitar may be a .042-.046. Also, what type of music and how loud do you play? Just suggestions to get you dialed in with the speaker that will serve double duty. |
