I attended the Hank Thompson School of Country Music
at Claremore College in 1975 and 1976. There was another steel player at the school, Jim Christiansen.
He was probably around 20 years old at the time.

Just wondering if anybody knows where he is at today
and if he still plays? I saw an old thread where
somebody had taken three steel guitar lessons from
a Jim Christiansen prior to Jim moving to Nashville.

Thanks for any information you may have.

If you mean Jimmy Christensen, the guy on the left in this picture (taken in the mid to late 70's), you can find him on Facebook, or if you like, send me your email address in a private message and I'll forward it to him.

Jimmy C. I believe I met up with him in Montana, late 70s, early 80s.

Thanks, Chris...

I did have an e-mail from another Forum member who
knows Jimmy and says he is still playing. I did find
him on facebook and sent a message.
