Ken:
I know you are no longer building amps but I want to bring to your attention and others here on the forum the valuable info & insight you have provided.
Firstly, my Fox vintage amp has a new cab with two 12" Tone Tubby speakers that serves well with classic steel sounds and guitar. Absolutely wonderful
Also, I acquired a Fender PA-100 that is being rehabbed and modded with the input caps and resistors, etc. that you posted a while back. Four channels with a killer reverb. I also used your cab from the vintage Fox amp and changed the baffle board to a 12 inch and using a Neo Mag 1201 speaker.
I also have a PA-135 that I am using for bass at this time but what a hidden gem.
Regards,
Lenny |

If I may, I would also like to include my appreciation to Ken for all that he has done for me. There's too many amps to list. Ken, a heartfelt, thank you. |

Ken, you've been more than a "service" to members here. I know I speak for many when I say you've literally been an "ICON" here! You've provided, free of charge, valuable information and experience to many of us. It was unfortunate that sometime back a member berated you in an email for your assistance. There are crazy and ungrateful people everywhere, including here.
Too many examples to list of your value. But, one lasting personal one is this...Over a few years time I purchased a new Nashville 112 and two used with upgraded chips. Ok sounding amps but nowhere comparable with Webb or Evans solid state amps. Then before Ernest Cawby passed away, I purchased his 112 that had the upgraded chips and a Jensen 4 ohm NEO speaker installed by you. After years of going thru so many amps looking for "THAT" sound I finally found it in this little amp! It will be the absolute last amp I ever part!!! (I've left Ernie's name on the amp as a tribute to a very nice guy! I don't have the heart to ever remove it)
You've provided many, including myself, with help on tube amp repairs and some modifications all while asking nothing in return. One thing you received either way was the ever lasting respect of "MANY" members here.

Ken, I'm glad to have you as a friend, and as a go-to guy, when I hit a stump. Love you, man. |

Ken works magic on tube amps. My Music Man is proof enough. Made a lot of Peavey and Webb fans happy also. Never met him but he seemed to be a true gentleman. Wish he was still working. I have a few I could send him ! lol
Thanks Ken . _________________ Bill |
