NOT cute, NOT touching, NOT nostalgia, they are playing this stuff better than anyo... well not to compare out. Two years ago, you would NEVER have imagined that this combination - a legendary Hollywood swordsman, a couple of old gasbag hippies milking the nostalgia teat... Otie is the unsung hereo here, but I NOW know what Clapton meant when he said Mayer doesn't even know how good he himself is. And - everyone's singing NORMAL! Somewhere in ths process.... they ironed out the weak points. AND they're having a blast, nobody just clocking in and out. Well, half the drummers, but you only NEED one! The MUSIC is so solid. What grand luck we have to be able to hear so much great music.
