I have a 1956 Fender strat. Which I painted many times and made many changes through out the years not knowing the value of it. I now just have a parts guitar. I was thinking on selling it. some parts are missing? Will be selling (all parts or nothing together)But now a will consider taking offers on each piece to the highest bidder If I can not find someone to buy it all. Please feel free to send me a email with your bid if you like. I will answer your questions about it If you send me your phone # and best time for me to call you.

I think your best bet would still be with George Gruhn or Elderly Music or other major "vintage" dealer, as they would be able to get the maximum value for each of the parts too.

A vintage dealer would indeed get maximum value of the parts, for themselves. They will typically offer 40-60% of the lowest price that they will accept for a sale.

If you want top dollar sell each part on Ebay. Take good pics and give as much detail as possible.

I'd love a '56 strat, but I could never afford a complete one. I'm sure there are plenty of folks that would love to snag parts either to piece together, or for their mostly complete guitar.

Good luck with the sale.
