As new and unused Peavey speaker basket from a BWX SC-12 speaker. It is 12", 8 ohm.
From Peavey's literature this is replacement basket part number 00560770, "1208-8 SPS BWX RB".
If this were a complete speaker (i.e. with magnet) it would have part number 00560850.
I believe this is a high power handling basket. From Peavey's literature, "....The Peavey BWX SC NEO, patent pending, woofers are a milestone in high-power design. An incredible 1300 watts program, 2600 watts peak power rating..."
I bought this as a complete speaker with a neo' magnet. I removed the magnet to keep for my own use, and so have this extra basket to sell. I don't know how this would sound for steel guitar.
