Westcoast WC-8H; I've had it for about a year but decided I'm going to stick to 6 string. I bought it from Retro Music mail order. When I got it, it had some rubber feet screwed into the bottom that I've since removed, leaving small holes. It looks like who ever did it put one in the wrong spot and filled the hole with wood filler (see pictures). Other than that, it's in great condition and ready to go. Strung and tuned to C6. Includes hard case. Asking $400.00 and I'll pay shipping (continental U.S. Only). Thanks for looking.

The screw holes are a minor cosmetic issue and can easily be made to be almost disappear. A hobby woodworker or cabinet person can match the wood & grain with appropriate plugs and instal them flush with the surface. A couple of carefully applied coats of finish and you'd have to look hard to see them.

Nice guitar, good luck with your sale.

Why wouldn't just removing two of the unwanted strings.........solve your dilemma?

Just curious. That's what I'd do.

Good question. I already have a couple 6 strings and a 6 string resonator that I play regularly and bought the 8 to try it out. Thought I could sell it to someone who's looking for a good 8 string. But, not a bad idea converting it to 6.

I'd be willing to entertain reseaonable offers. It really is a great sounding steel and I hope the small holes in the back don't turn off someone looking for a steel like this.
