Believe it or not, one of these just sold a few days ago on eBay. It sold for $577. I was watching the auction all week and thinking about bidding, but I decided to let it go. It's the only one I had ever seen in 40+ years of playing steel. I love weird, funky, oddball steel guitars, but I've been burned a few times buying obscure 8-string steels that looked fantastic but played and sounded terrible.
