As I remember Tommy White has one, maybe more with the split tuners. But opted to use a rod tuner instead.

I love having the splits. But rod tuners offer a tad bit more tuneabily. If that's a word? Also on an Emmons if not all PSG's, split tuners are very temperature sensitive. Meaning just a tiny turn goes a long way. Metal screws get hot. They expand a little. They get cold they contract. See where I'm going. I guess one could say tuning the splits with rods makes split tuning less temperamental. Having said that.
I still think split tuners are a good feature. Your mileage may vary.
