I'm having a hard time understanding this site. How do you log in? where do you sign up? how do you post the ad? is it a forum or what? anyone has any idea what is going on here? it seems they have bunch a guitars there, but no moderators...

Looks very shady to me. I tried to inquire about a guitar,but it would not send the email.

It's acting as a search engine for eBay. When you click more information after clicking an item, it goes directly to the eBay listing.

but why the name www.pedalsteelguitars.org ? and why contact forms? who is running the site? what is the purpose of it? I don't get it...

I looked it up on whois.com. it looks like it's owned by a company that squats on the site and has found a way to automate the content with ebay ads so they can't be accused of not owning the domain for a legitimate purpose. Ultimately they just want to sell the domain to make a profit. With their automation system, they probably own thousands of sites like this and don't have to do any real work, just wait for a buyer with a real interest in owning the domain.

thanks Jim, I couldn't figure out to save my life, what is going on over there, there is bunch a guitars, even some of my Promats, that I never posted there, and they even have some steel guitar videos...thanks
