Before I get to involved with this project, the BL710N is to big for the pickup slot. It looks like there may be enough room to remove the necks, mount the BL710N and reinstall the neck 'or' Do I want to just get out the dremel tool, sandpaper and wittle away on the BL710 until it fits through the slot?

Update- No doubt, sanding is the way to go. These pickup mounts can be sanded to where its a very tight fit, very snug. now I can set them at any height and have plenty of mounting material on the ends. I may have taken of 1/16 of an inch on each side.
