Never heard of her before this morning when someone posted about her on a BB I read.

The intimacy of the recording is startlingly modern. she has some of the 20s vocal affectations (flatted blues notes and falling glissandi on certain words) but they're a lot more subtle than a lot of 20s vocalists. The person she most reminds me of is Dinah shore.
