Having dreamed for a near life-time about getting to be on the Grand Ole Opry and finally getting to see it in the Ryman with Cowboy Copas, Patsy Kline and others.........

I just have to say that my getting to see the TIME JUMPERS there in Nashville was really the musical highlight of my lifetime.

Watching Ranger Doug playing rhythm guitar was exciting for me along with the drummer playing with brushes........and all of the other personalities in the band. A really GREAT SHOW.

Hey Ray, I don't know if you are aware of this or not, but that was a replay of the Time Jumpers DVD of a live session at the Station Inn, done a few years ago. I have the DVD and the CD of that show, and it was done prior to the passing of John Hughey. Also it has Carolyn Martin and Dawn Sears singing, but Carolyn is no longer with them, as she went solo. One or two of the fiddle players are different as well as the bass player, and possibly the drummer.

Vince Gill and Paul Franklin on steel are more permanent members of the group now.

Glad you enjoyed it. Can't beat some of the old stuff, and hearing it done in such a great way. Long live Western Swing, and the traditional music that we grew up listening to.
