Bob: I used the hinges from a bass-boat seat. Walmart, about $15.00. Worked for me. Good Luck, Steve

Hey Bob,
I had a ShoBud seat done years ago by Blackie Taylor when I still lived in SoCal. Since then I've done a couple myself. What you do is go to a sporting goods store and get you one of those seats with the folding back that you take to a game which has bleachers. There's this seat that you set on top of the bleachers so you'll have a back. You just remove the seat bottom and you have take the two rods that were screwed into the bottom of the seat and screw them into the bottom of the lid of your packseat. You'll have to cut a couple of small slots beside the hinges on the back of the packseat so they'll fit snug against the inside of the top. They then fold down and now I usually carry my packseat by the back instead of the regular handle. Blackie Taylor's been doing this for probably 25 years or so....
