Great post, Roger! I know the public will enjoy the showcasing of Jump Start students where they'll display their steel pickin' talents! These new, younger players will be the ones taking pedal steel guitar into the future. |

I've always enjoyed this show, the people are so kind to us. There will be several Steelers there from around the Midwest. If you are in the Marshalltown or Des Moinse area, come up to Marshalltown and enjoy some great dance music. |

I am originally from Waterloo, IA and now living in Texas.
What happened to the Electric Park Ballroom in Waterloo and the change of venue for the "meet"? |

Guys, this is the Marshalltown show, don't get confused with the Waterloo show. Central Iowa is in May, Waterloo in Oct. This is a fun show that is building and for one day, there is a lot of steel guitar. Come and check it out, you'd have fun.

I just wanted to give a big THANKS to Ronnie Moore for driving 4hrs to the show to watch the Jumpstart Students.
Ronnie is a big source of inspiration and encouragement for us young steelers.
Means a lot buddy. Wish I could have kidnapped ya and picked your brain for a minute. Hope to steal some licks from ya soon!
Thanks again to The Jumpstart Academy and to the Show for letting us students play. _________________ Emmons Lashley LeGrande, Still borrowing my uncle's Sho-Bud Pro-I he never thought I'd learn!

Kudo's to Lefty Schrage, the thousands of times I've listened to that man, he again amazed the bajesus out of me when he broke a string on e9 then switched to c6th. How he did it and stayed with the melody on c6 and not sound c6th, just kick me in the shin and call me Alice. Your still the man Lefty. |

Thanks to Vic and Van Switzer for putting on such a fun show. The fellowship is so much fun. It is so much fun to see local players that we never get the chance to visit with. the sound equipment and staging is second to none, the help was right there when needed. Keep up the show partner, this is a good one. |
