What is the difference in a 24 inch scale and a 24 1/2 inch scale?
Thanks

"Scale" is the lenght of the part of the open string that vibrates. That is, the the distance between the nut and the bridge.
A larger scale allows easier intonation, IMO.
There are tone issues that I'll defer to others. |

The difference? On a keyed guitar, the 24" scale will cause fewer string-breakage problems than the 24 1/2" scale. |
