Hey I have had this one for a while and was wondering if anyone could offer any info on it (year model etc), or what the value of it might be. Thinking about getting rid of it. I also have the matching amp that is in working order. Number on the head stock reads B3812 Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Most likely it is a post-war NS. If it was a pre-war 59 the pickup width would be about 1.5" wide. The easiest way to date these metal body lap steels is to unscrew the pickup, lift it up to expose the hole, and pull out the newspaper that is stuffed in the body. Then start looking for a date on the newspaper. That is the best way to date these. Hopefully someone didn't remove the newspaper filler.
