50's Oahu Lap Steel With Valco P/u Sold

Sold the lap to a non-member of this forum. Well, not exactly like new but darned close. I am selling my early 50's Oahu lap steel with a strong sounding Valco stringthru pickup and excellent condition tweed case. This guitar is truly a "closet classic" and has not been played that much thru the years. The blonde MOTS has not yellowed and the chrome parts are in very good condition with little signs of age. The Kluson key plastic knobs has shrunk some but still work great. There is a chip in the bone nut but not worth replacing it and does not effect the string spacing. The tweed case is as close to perfect as you will find with the latches and handle in excellent condition. The guitar will come with a screw on guitar cord that works perfectly. This is a fine playing guitar that would be a perfect collector as well. Not many out there in this condition. I bought it from the original owner. Asking $435.00 shipped. Make offer.
