Howdy Friends, My brother in Fort Worth Texas just
bought that Gibson EH680 8 string steel guitar 0n Ebay. Does anybody have any experience with these Steel Guitars. He wants to set it up E6th. What tuning Would you use and what changes would one put on those four floor pedals. he wants to get that Hank Williams Snr. sound, and I just found out Don Helms tuned in E6th. Tennessee Lee

Don't remember the bottom four, but do remember the top four which were ---G#, E, C#, B. Don wrote these down for me eons ago, but don't remember where I put the info.
You could make the bottom four ---G#, F#, E, B
or
G#, E, C#, B.
