Roland GA-112 amp

I just saw on MF this morning - stupid deal of the day is the Roland GA-112 for $299...has anybody played steel thru this and liked it? Looking for my first mostly PSG amp, some lap steel (a beautiful ZKing)...looks like i probably missed the boat on the Roland 80XL...reviews for the new 80GX have been mixed. Hate to get anything too heavy...budgeted for around $500 now..I've read a lot of the amp discussions here..don't really have the opportunity to play thru different Peavys, etc. I am playing a Stage One from Doug..thoughts on the GA-112, or?
