I am looking to sell or trade a 2010 Victor Baker Custom Semi-Hollow Body Jazz Guitar. Laminate top and back (spruce outer shell on soundboard, flame maple outer shell on back), Spruce center block, Lollar Imperial pickups, ebony fingerboard, new design top loading tailpiece.
Width at the nut is 1.75 inches
Scales length is 25 inches
Width at lower bout is 15 inches
Body depth is 2.25 inches
This is similar to the guitar played by Gilad Hekselman. To have this guitar custom ordered from Victor Baker back in 2010 would start at $3400. No idea what they go for today.
Here are some additional pictures of the guitar on the builder's site: http://www.victorbakerguitars.com/blog/?p=1355

Includes a Reunion Blues gig-bag or a hard-shell case (your choice).
As far as trades, I'm interested is a dreadnaught guitar of equal value:
Martin D-18 or D-28, possibly a Collings, Santa Cruz or similar D style guitar. I'm looking for one of those fabled bluegrass canons, otherwise know as a banjo-killer.
I would prefer a local sale, but if there is no interest locally I will consider shipping. I am located in Sacramento, CA |
