What could be causing my adjustable legs on my new G2 to hang up, or not pull out at the Clutch. I have to keep pullin and twistin on them after loosening off the clutch, I think that's what it's called. I hadn't unscrewed it all the way, but it has to be something inside causing it to do that you think?

Terry, I would think the tapered ring that compresses the clutch is sticking. Unscrew the collar and put a small amount of lubricant on the compression ring which is either brass of aluminum, hopefully brass. I know it sounds weird to lube a clutch but the compression ring should not be allowed to stick. This should cure it.

Thanks Jerry, I really appreciate your help. Do you think you'd be interested in playing at the 2nd Gospel steel show at Dermott this June 14th? I sure would love to hear you play again. Hadn't heard you play since you played at Ronnie Neighbors, years ago. Country Jack Harper will be puting it up on the events section soon.

It was the brass ring Jerry. Put a drop of oil on it and it works fine. Thanks

Terry, I'm glad that fixed the leg. I would love to play the Gospel show but it is so far from me I would not be able to get back in time to play the "Little O' Oprey" that night. Thanks for asking though.
