The "there is hope for it" seems wildly optimistic. |

Well...at least we know there was no smoking anywhere near it. I sort of dig the pickup upgrade. Reminds me me of J.J Cale's Harmony acoustic guitar. |

Yeah, if he had just one more pickup, he'd really be a great player! (Accoding to the gearhead mantra, anyway.)
I can appreciate that "NO SMOKING" sign. Wouldn't want to damage that vintage mojo, now, would we? |

I saw one a week or two ago, that actually looked worse. Three Fender pedals, but moved to the left, and four knees, made out of flattened electrical conduit, and brazed on to some allthread "Cross Bars." Each lever had about 6" of travel, but the pull came in on the last inch or so. But it was painted black... |

I love it! When I'm digging through the ruins of post-apocalyptic civilization I want to play a steel like that. |

You could transfer the back neck to the front and put a pad in the back location, or build a non-pedal neck to replace the missing one. It's all a matter of how much time and effort you want to put into it. |
