I am thinking of buying a D12 SHO-BUD PRO 2, I have never seen or even knew that S/BUD made a D12 has anyone ever had one and if so how was it? I know it will be heavy but it will not be gigged with very often so humping it to and from the car wont be a problem.

Just to add this is not one of the older Fingertip D12`s.
Just to add I will be using two cases one will have wheels fitted so that will keep the weight more manageable.

Thanks Jimmy.

Mine is a Pro II Custom, but with a retrograde changer (I believe they were nylon tuned but I went to barrels and 2 hole pullers).
I love it, and it plays well, but I am in the middle of overhauling it.

Jimmy, Mine is just like it. Yea, You don't want to gig it out much. Like packing around a truck bumper. What's your serial #? But I do love it.

Jimmy
That is a guitar that I once owned and sold to Mr Cook. He in turn has removed the vertical lever apparently and stuck it on another Sho~Bud allegedly stating that it was badly fitted. Ron Mawn fitted that lever, and he knows as much about Sho~Buds as anyone.

You need to be aware of a couple of things -

1. It's very heavy
2. There is a thread somewhere on this forum that I put on and it gives the background of the guitar and its previous owners.

Regards
Ken
