Hey, check out my buddy Rich Zimmermann's photo blog--he's currently got up some great shots of Manassas playing in MKE in '73. Nice ZB!

Rich has TONS of great rock show shots as well as racing pics. ( If you dig it why not help him out-buy something!)

Those are great shots. I've been enjoying Al Perkins lately, especially the first Manassas album and some later Burritos.

Great pictures, thank you. Looks like they had another bass player than Fuzzy Samuels by then.

The first Manassas album is still a favorite of mine. There is a cool DVD out of the band somewhere in a European TV studio performing that album as well.

It's a recording from 1972, taped at German tv show "Musikladen". Running time: 40 minutes.
It contains:
Bound to fall
It doesn't matter
Hide it so deep
Song of love
Rock 'n' Roll crazies
Cuban bluegrass
Jet set
Jam
The treasure

I have the video cassette.

That is the one. What an incredible band and Al really shines. Must have been a little akward for the band as there is no audience.
