On the Emmons guitars with the black knee levers--can anyone tell me how to take the knee lever off?--just the black lever itself.
It's connected with what looks like a brass pin. Can this be tapped out without removing the entire assembly or is this a rivet that has would have to be drilled out. The knee levers, especially on the left knee, are too short and I want to add longer levers.--Just don't want to break anything..

I thought they were Allen screws? I'll check mine when I'm at practice next week.

Larry. the pin taps out with a small flat head punch, but you had best remove the bracket before doing so , that way you can support around the pin with out putting pressure on the screws. Its only two screws. mine fell out while playing my new Le Grande III, lever and all hit the deck.
