I was browsing the Thomann web catalog and found an 8 stringed Harley Benton lap steel.
http://www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_slider_8.htm
In the text they mention the tuning, which to me looks a bit unusual.
High to low
E, C#, A, F#, D#, C#, B, A
What would you call this tuning?
Is anyone using it?

That is a B11 tuning, not so uncommon. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |

A Major 7th Suspended 2nd Suspended 4th Add 6th
I have that Lap Steel Guitar steel. Its the second best I ever used thus far. MSA super slide is the best. Thus far.
Harley Benton make a great Lap Steel Guitar steel 8 string. No joke. |

@ Stefan: Yeah this was what I came up with, but...
I have the 6 string Slider II, not good but it will do for now. Maybe I should look into the 8 string...
@ Mike: B11, yes of cause! I got thrown by the 8 string A and thought it was an A tuning
Thank you both for your help
