Derrell Stephens built mine and he still repairs them. Maybe he can help you. Phone Derrell at 903 278-5832. Remove the chassis and only ship it to cut down on size and weight. Derrell is located in Texas and turns them around fast. His repair work is first rate and his charges are reasonable. Try FEDEX ground to get the best shipping rate. While he had mine, I had him go over it and do any preventive maintenance that he felt was needed, in addition to repairing the hum that I had.
It came back sounding better than it ever had.

I second everything George said!

Darrell's models are by far the best Evans amps built and there is a noticeable difference in tone to other year models. He is a master amp tech!!!That's why when you see them listed for sale it's usually specified that its a "Darrel Stephens" model Evans. Do I have one? You bet I do! Winking
