For sale is a 2002 Fender American Standard Fretless Jazz Bass in "Very Good Condition." This is a great-sounding and great-playing fretless bass. There was some recent confusion on my part as to whether the guitar was a Standard Series or an American Standard Series, but I've now confirmed that it is definitely an American Standard Series. The Serial Number is Z134168 if you're curious about the manufacturing details.
It's got a few nicks and scratches on the back and sides (see photos), but it has far fewer nicks and scratches than the Fender "60s Jazz Bass Road Series" guitar!

It's functionally in excellent condition. In the twelve years that I've had it this bass has retained its original setup from the factory very well, and I've never even needed to adjust the truss rod once. I'd love to keep this one in my collection, but I need to make room for some other gear. I'm including a nice Fender hardshell case and the wrenches that came with the bass when I got it.
I'm asking $850 or best offer. Buyer pays for shipping. This guitar retails at most stores for $1,349 new, and I've seen used ones in similar condition range from $895 to $1000.
