Wiz, some websites as well as my virus checker is telling me that since support for XP is ending in April that Internet Explorer will be vulnerable to attack and is recommending Google Chrome as a safe alternative. What are your thoughts about this? Also when I have updated my virus checker, after it shut down the machine to update, it asked me to click to finalize. When I did that I failed to notice Google chrome was checked to be downloaded. I was able to stop it after I realized what was happening but later found something called conduit had been installed and created somewhat of a problem until I could get rid of it. I would like your thoughts on this and also, what is conduit? |

I'm not Wiz, but I would recommend Firefox rather than Chrome.
Conduit is a virus, according to a search. Wiz can help you get rid of that. |

Harold;
You can get rid of Conduit Sleazeware in one of two ways. Either run System Restore to a day prior to its installation, or download, update and scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. It will locate all installation places and offer to delete them. Select everything it reports, then remove the threats. Contact me by PM if you need assistance. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
