Thanks for the heads up.
It's great to see a talented player and also the lap steel in this situation, I was looking at the Roland micro cubes and thought what a great sound.
The lap steel he is using sure has seen some action and for a modern import it just goes to show that its the talent in the players hands that can coax the tune out of what is basically a plank of wood.
I must look out for him if I am ever in that area.
Regards

It'll be hard to find him on the web, since he's chosen to use the same name as the stage name of the American rapper, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, investor and occasional actor from St. Louis, Missouri.
He doesn't hold the bar in a traditional way. He's using a flat pick instead of thumb and finger picks. He's using one of the cheapest Asian made instruments (and has been for a while, judging by the gouges in the wood). With all that, he's expressing himself very well within the style of music he's playing. More power to him. _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel

I couldn't have said it better. Those are all the things that I noticed.
I'm assuming, by the way, that that's Brighton in Sussex, not in New England. |
