Looking for a Tricone Squareneck.
I wish I had the funds for a National, but I dont. Looking for a Republic/Recording King/Hot Rod/Johnson.
Maybe someone has one kicking around that they'd like to move... Maybe someone has a national they'd like to sell in that price range Wink (hey a guy can dream...)
Thanks a million.

I have an original 1928 square-neck Tricone Model 1 in 9+ condition for sale.

Asking $2500 + shipping.

Try a Regal. Also, I recently was informed that Guild is making some nice reso's, but I do not know the price range yet.

THanx,
Jim

I am pretty sure Guild isn't making tri-cones, and I believe the spider bridge guitars they are making start at ball park $1900 street price.

I know you are wanting a Tricone, so my National is probably not what you are looking for. But just in case anyone out there is looking for a world class squareneck, bought in 2008 from Artisan guitars, with original hard case (in mint condition) - I am selling for $2000. Bear in mind I will be sending from Uk but I am prepared to take a hit on the postage costs.

Any questions, let me know.

Nick

I've got a Republic tri-cone, but it has a round neck.
PM if interested.

You do not need to have a square neck. Use a round neck with a metal extension nut. That way you can play it both ways. Brother Oswald used a round neck with an extention (or raised) nut on his Dobro.

Thanx,
Jim
