Just to remove the cross rods on a MSA Classic is to remove the 3 pairs of machine screws located on the aluminum panel on the back apron. One pair on the left end, a pair in the middle and another pair about 25 inches to the right. If something is attached to the main frame or body you should be able to remove it without complete disassembly.
You can see the left set of screws clearly, and center set, When this plate is removed you will will be looking at the end of the cross rod and nylon bearings. Good Luck and Happy Steelin |

Something happened in Syber Space and this ended up as a new post instead of adding it to the post already on the forum. |

Bobby, it's easy to hit the "new thread" button instead of the "post reply" button. I'd copy the entire first post, and attach it to the other thread. I'll delete this in the morning, so you can spike it.
EDIT: if you leave the subject line blank, it won't let you post a new subject, so it lets you know you hit the wrong button _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
