I tried ordering a custom bullet bar from Jim Burden's website yesterday. I filled in the online order form and submitted it, but it took me to a website netpointe.com and showed a brief one liner saying words to the effect that it wasn't going to work.
Anybody know whether Bullet Bars is still in business?
Thanks, bk

Thanks Ken. Did you order over the website or phone it in. I'm open to whatever works.

Ken, I just tried again today via the web and the order was sucessfully registered. Don't know where I screwed up yesterday, but I appreciate your post saying everything with Bullet Bars was good.
Thanks again,
bk

I have a Bullet 15/16 that I really love. It's well balanced and the indent in the butt end of the bar adds control. If you play nickel strings, it's the best bar on the market.

Dustin I'm looking forward to getting it. For years I've played the BJS bars. But the 15/16 is just a little bit large for me - I've had a 3/4 plastic bar that fits my hand a little better, but it's shorter. The difference is a little like driving an SUV vs a sportier car. So I've gone for the 3/4 bullet bar. I've played D10's, S10's and now a U12 so the Bullet bar seems to be right up my tree. Glad Jim's there for us.

I just ordered my 3rd or 4th bullet bar from Jim. Fast, very professional custom service, from a guy who really does a great job. The bullet bar is my favorite bar.

I have two of Jim's bars. He is a regular at our Florida Steel Guitar club jams in the winter.

I know none of you are close, but he gives a discount on bars at the club jams.

I just got my new one from Jim a little while ago. I'm very impressed, it's really sweeet, beautifully finished and fits my hand like I've always dreamed about.
Took it for a trial run and was very satisfied. Thanks Jim.

So...I ordered my custom bullet bar last Thursday (I think). It arrived today (Monday) with a nice hand written note.. It's perfect! The turn around time was unbelievably fast! I think I may order up a few more to keep on hand for my students who want a great bar..

Thanks Jim...old school quality, honest value and super customer service.

Jim makes a real good product ! It's well balanced and I really love the thumb indent as it adds a measure of control. If you are playing nickel strings the bullet is the way to go. I'm not a huge fan of stainless strings so the Bullet Bar is THE BAR FOR ME. Reece liked them so there must be something to it....
