This past week I began experiencing some tuning problems with my '66 Emmons bolt-on. I really did need my guitar for a friday night gig. After countless phone-calls to the other known P/P mechanics in the area, no-one could get to me right away. I called Jeff Peterson, and explained my problem. He said to bring it over since we just live 4 miles from each other. Jeff found the problem and corrected it, he also replaced several worn-out springs and tightened the slack in parts of my undercarriage. This particular guitar is 37 years old so it's understandable why some of the springs needed replacing, and the rest just needed a general tweaking.
I'm here to say that Jeff really impressed me with his knowledge of Emmons P/P mechanisms. Being the owner of 3 push-pull guitars, I'm darned glad to know an expert like Jeff who can work on them. He did an excellent job for me and now my guitar plays and tunes great.

When not on the road with Clint Black, Jeff works with Bobbe Seymour at Steel Guitar Nashville. He really knows his stuff on these guitars, and can give you quick turn-around. I just wanted to bragg on Jeff a little, and say what a great job he did for me and I highly recommend him.

Nick

Thanks Nick. I have a good time working on these guitars 'cause I just love 'em. I never met one that couldn't be made to play and sound fantastic. They are like no other guitar.
