george l pickup repair

bought a box-o-pickups a while back pretty cheap. one of the GL pickups was not working. short in the wire where it goes in the pickup....what do i have to lose? took a small sharp chisel and started tapping on the epoxy on the back till i popped out a small chunk. then i just kept tapping till i exposed the rest of the wire inside. spliced it back together and then used some black epoxy bumper repair to fill it back in. works like a champ! looking for some more to tinker with if anyone has a broken one to get rid of.
