Aside form 1975's Lovin' & Losin', are there any other Billy Walker albums featuring Buddy? Honky Tonkitus by itself is worth the price of admission. Outstanding steel on that track. |

I also have Billy Walker cuts with Emmons on the "Alone Again", "Life Is A Song", "20 Golden Country Hits" albums.
It looks like Buddy Emmons was on Billy Walker's records as far back as 1956. This from PragueFrank's site:

There are undoubtedly lots more with Emmons that PragueFrank doesn't have the credits on. It also doesn't help that over the years Billy Walker cut several different versions of the same titles. Lots of his other songs with Hal Rugg, Lloyd Green and Weldon Myrick are great listening as well. |

You are correct Roger, and if you listen to faith Hill's Piece of my Heart, you'll hear that same lick played by Paul Franklin. Also, the break in Honky Tonkitus features the exact same lick found in George Strait's Adalida. Great stuff. |

Thanks Roger, I knew I had heard that before but couldn't remember which song. That's good pickin' as Buddy always did.
