I believe Erby Mandrell traded Barbara's 4 neck BIGSBY for the D-10 Emmons to Ron Lashly even up. Whoa!

You may mean Barbara's 4 neck Wright.
I hope she still has that one.

I stand corrected Todd. Embarassed
Yes, it was a 4 neck Wright guitar. I do believe Barbara has it back now. Smile

Yes, I saw the finished cabinet at the Emmons factory in Burlington, NC. prior to the guitar being assembled. The guitar looks to be in pristine condition.

I was working at Emmons when we made this guitar. As I recall the paint job was done by Keith Jarrett. It still looks great in the pictures. Some lucky steeler will get a one of a kind Emmons.

Wow, for a D10 player... seems like a fair buy it now price.
Does it have any right-leg knee levers?
Looks like a cluster of 4 on the left leg, is that right?

It seems to have extra long foot pedals or is that just the camera shot.

Does anyone know of any links to photos of Barbara playing this guitar? About 9:50 in the video.

Well, she is tiny, barely 5 feet tall, so they may have made custom pedals for her.

That link pulls up a listing for a knife now. It was a pretty guitar while I was able to see it.

Bob, You can probably grab a single frame from that video and make it into a nice size framed picture for your Man-Cave Steel-o-Rama room.
Do I sense a New Addition of the Push-Pull variety???
Cool

I would say that went for a really good price considering the halo value. US$3995.95 plus $150 s&h.

I actually considered this steel. But, the seller couldn't get me pics of the underside. He was suppose to post it or email me the pics but said he was in the process of repairing his camera so I never got them. Beauty and one of a kind for sure! But. without the underside shots I was very reluctant especially since his camera was broken??? Glad someone got a piece of history tho!
