Technically, you just published it by making it available online.

Now selling it, getting paid for use, etc, that's a whole different ball of wax.

Please be more specific - what exactly are you looking to do? Anybody can publish a song. If you're looking to team up with BMI, ASCAP, SESAC, etc. then that's a different thing. Each of those publishing authorities has instructions on their respective websites.
