Here is the guitar used by Fred Newell, the guitar player on Nashville Now for many years. The guitar is now owned by Scott Grove a collector and great player.

A friend of mine has a 50's Replica Tele and yes the neck is very thick.

I like the Tele. It's got some cool vibes. I just can't stand that guy. I don't care what he knows or what his provenance is, he just agitates me. He's probably a good guy, but, I wouldn't pay a penny for his knowledge or expertise. |

The fellow is entertaining and has had two strokes and doesn't care what he says.

Thats a great sounding tele... Wonderful sound out of that digital Johnson amp too.. The guy has a great ear, and is a good player for sure.... bob _________________ I'm over the hill and hittin'rocks on the way down!
