Picked up a used Nashville 112 today. I know the common thinking is to connect the guitar to the volume pedal to the DDE to the amp. Is it accepted practice to connect the DD3 to the amp via the effects I/O on the front of the control panel?

I always use the Send/Receive on the front of the amp.
To me it gives a cleaner sound than the audio input.

Like Carl said on the Send/Receive but on the post side, not the pre(amp) side of the panel.
