Hey folks,
Mandy Barnett has released a tribute to Don Gibson on the Cracker Barrrel music label.
Does anyone here know who played steel on the album? (I don't have the album, I'm assuming it has steel guitar.)
Is she carrying a steel player on road shows? If so, who?
She's coming into Austin next Friday night, Feb. 7th at the Continental Club, and I'm curious if she'll have a steeler with her.
Thanks,

Hey Ted, How are you? m Good to see you post. I definitely have to look up this Tribute to Don Gibson. I have always loved his stuff. Great vocals, style and arrangements that were so clean... _________________ Ray Harrison

Lloyd Greene and I both played on the album. I played on Blue, Blue Day and Sweet Dreams. It's a great album, Mandy is one of my favorite vocalist and she produced the album as well. Great players on the CD too, Pig Robbins, Charlie McCoy, Brad Albin, Andy Reiss, Gene Christen, Harold Bradley, to name a few. |
