I know I'm a bit slow at times and trying new gear is no exception. Now that they have discontinued the Behringer DR-400 I decided to try one. I missed the one recently on the forum so I bit the bullet and spent $60 for a new one and power adaptor too. I've tried the Boss RV-3 in the past and didn't like it. I tried 3 different units over a couple years and never could get the sound I wanted from it. It always sounded processed and affected my tone. So I've stayed with a Guyatone MD-3 (best digital delay IMHO) and used the amp's reverb.
That being said, I tried my new DR-400 tonight and I'm completely blown away!!! They are great sounding units and very versatile as well and doesn't affect my tone one bit! So, the DR-400 will be in my mix from now on. Hopefully, it will be trouble free for years to come!!! Cool blue LED

Didn't know it had been discontinued. I've had one for a couple years - I use it with my MB200 head for both steel and guitar. It works just fine - no complaints at all. _________________ 2013 Brook Torridge, 2014 Martin 000-18, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, Quilter 101R head, understanding wife of 45 years. I have been using Behringers DD400 and DD600 for quite a while and IMHO they are as good as my Boss DD3 and a lot cheaper at a quarter of the price.
