"Lawrence of Arabia," the 1962 David Lean film, was based on T.E. Lawrence's autobiography "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom," which detailed his experiences with the nascent pan-Arab movement to throw off the Turkish and imperial British colonial yoke at the beginning of the 20th century.
The signature piece of Maurice Jarre's Academy Award-winning movie score is the "Overture."

Oh man, I'm gonna stack the reverb and crank it with a harmonizer. Thankyou! |

It' funny, I'm currently reading "Lord Jim" by Joseph Conrad.
The movie also stars Peter O'Toole. The soundtrack is great also. Thanks Frank!
