I lost the very tip (half of the nail) of the left index finger some time ago and am trying to research and devise something to support the finger as it will tend to get spastic ..currently using what I believe is 10 oz. ..difficult to read the decal on the bottom of it but appears to say BJS ..is the John Pearse Thermo Cryonic 'Big Daddy' unavailable? ..any suggestions would be sincerely appreciated ..ty |

THANKS Jerry! ..I posted this question some time ago and received some archival photo's of similar situations ..machine screwing a metal finger pick to the end of the bar looks like an option ..haven't been playing so no licks ..just ALOT of extra work now trying to keep intonation as a result of the injury ..thank you again ..kids today have it easy learning with the Internet, You Tube, et al ..! |

Ronald, Velcro is a very versatile product. Could you perhaps make a "ring" for your finger and put a spot of Velcro on the bar? Some experimenting might come up with something.
