Good day everyone
I've done 2 days of coffee break searches on this forum, using the built in tool, and the google search... but I can't find the definitive answer for what diameter, and thread I need to add pulls to my Carter.
As of right now, I'm thinking that I need a 3/32 welding rod with a 4-40 die to put the thread on it.
Am I correct? Should I use a different diameter, material, or thread?
Thanks,
Jarek |

I believe John once told me due to the size of their rods, the threads were rolled. _________________ Cops aren't paid much so I steel at night.

3/32 + 4/40 work fine. I went to welding supply outlet for stainless welding rods per John Fabian. They were priced at ten pounds for $60, I said I only needed four and they gave them to me! JS |

I should have gone with my instinct and sent you a PM John... I found your post from a couple years ago saying that... but without the sizes!
Thanks for your replies everyone! |
