Hey all, now that I've got my new pedal steel on the way, it is sadly time to part with my Grestch G5700 Lap Steel to help cover the cost. I haven't really played it since I used it for recording last summer. You can hear it here being run through a small solid state amp and MXR compressor + volume pedal:

(Used on Long Gone and You Don't Get It)
100% functional, p/u is nice and quiet and no crackling when you're moving the dials. It does have some cosmetic damage, as I originally purchased it as scratch and dent from a guitar store for $175 + shipping. There is a crack in the pick guard, a small scratch near the pick guard, and a pretty decent chip out of the back of the headstock, but the wood itself is not cracked and structural integrity is good! It's nothing very noticeable if you're out gigging with it...maybe it looks road worn for that extra bit of credibility!
It does need new strings. No case, but I saved the original shipping box that is very secure. Want to get $175 + 1/2 shipping costs from 30030. Prefer text (or call and leave message) 765 481 0931 or email btmohler@bsugmail.net

These steels are perfect platforms to add a Duesenberg Multibender to if you are interested - the shape of the Gretch accommodates the bender perfectly... _________________ https://www.lostsailorspdx.com

I know they ship to the US, and subtract the VAT tax when they do. I'm not sure about rockinger. |
Thanks for the info Steve. I think I looked at Rockinger's site when I was seriously thinking about it but they were sold out. |
