Jonboy. . . .
Do you know which years the Emmons Company made the "FATBACK" guitars. I just bought a 71' rosewood P/P with the fullsize back apron. I'm thinking these were built from 70' to 73'. What do you think? NR

Nick, my push/pull is a fatback and is s/n 2002, and I'm told has been dated back to December of 1974. I ordered it through Scotty and picked it up in April of 1975.

No, Nick, I don't have any definitive info on these guitars, although I think that '70-73 is in the ballpark.

My 75PP is a "fat-back", but it's a wood cabnet/wood neck laq finish and I believe that all the wood cabnets were "fat-back".
I had Mike Cass restore this guitar and now it's so nice I don't want to take it out of the house!

Nick,
I have a blue Satin finish fatback, ser.#1909D, not sure of the year, but the guitar sounds great! The guy I got it from years ago said it either Ron Eliott or Stu Basore's studio guitar. I only wish!!!!
